We’re ecstatic to announce that Alex Sangster, who played Bobby in RMTC’s August 2015 production of Company, has been nominated for The Ken Wirdnam Trophy for the Best Male Character in a Musical at the 2016 NODA London Awards!
Company tells the story of Robert, a 35 year old bachelor in New York surrounded by married friends who long for him to be married. NODA representative Tony Austin described Alex’s performance as “terrific. [He gave] a finely graded performance as Robert. And I haven’t even mentioned his singing and dancing when leading the spectacular opening numbers in Act 2!”
Congratulations Alex! We’re looking forward to the NODA Awards ceremony on the 26th June to find out the results.
